While I was in Germany, my IXDAO Warrior arrived. Tried taking an unboxing video for @tiredofcrazyshite.bsky.social, but not sure it turned out. This thing is seriously nice for the brand's first in-house design. Tissot/Citizen who?
An IXDAO Warrior, an integrated sport watch featuring a mother of pearl dial engraved with the pattern of ancient Chinese armor. It shimmers but is highly readable. Four IXDAO watches together: the Warrior, the 5303 (a clone of the French Serica 5303, which costs four times as much yet uses an inferior Soprod movement to my IXDAO's Swiss Sellita SW-200), a clone of the Tudor Pelagos in titanium that was $189 with a PT5000, and a teal Engineer, which is a clone of an IWC watch that costs $11,000, versus my $400 IXDAO equipped with a genuine ETA 2842 Swiss movement.

I seriously debated the Pelagos 39, but liked that the Ranger is such a strong GADA. I do have an IXDAO X02T Titanium, which does a reasonable job of scratching the itch for now.

I have that IXDAO on order. Excited for it because their quality is crazy good, and the watch is a fascinating piece of design -- the dial is machined using a pattern copied from the armor found on the Terra Cotta Warriors.

Is no shortage of Chinese homage brands that could make these for cheap.

Ixdao, San Martin, Cronos, Watchdives, Farasute and Baltany all have ones like this with equivalent quality but classier design lol
