“If you see something, shovel something.”
I shoveled out crosswalks, instead of complaining.
If your neighborhood is also stuck in “snowcrete,” please take the #IceBreakUpChallenge: clear a sidewalk, post a photo.
Use social media to incent civic behavior.
If you like this idea, pass it on.

I helped my neighbors break their car out of its snowcrete tomb. Hard work, but invigorating. Onwards.

“If you see something, shovel something.”
A few of my neighbors on Capitol Hill are chipping snowcrete from sidewalks & cut outs.
A few are digging cars out.

I’m going to back to clear ice from walk in front of a vacant house, whose owner passed & her neighbors didn’t step up.

“If you see something, chop up something.”

New mattock acquired, after I broke my the aged wood of my inherited tool’s handle.

Game on!

Steel beats snowcrete.
