The first scrape after a flood is always disgusting, so much crud comes up.

Quite a few hours and plenty of pebbling/scraping later, you can see the difference in the color of the snow that comes up. #curling #icetech

Just shy of half a million steps last month and probably 75% or more of those steps being inside a 4 sheet curling club.

2 bonspiels and a 12 team playdowns worth of ice prep certainly add up.

Our end of season bonspiel started last night. Always a bittersweet feeling to be honest.

I'm looking forward to resting up over the summer, but especially with my summer curling home currently out of commission, I will miss it. Both the playing and the ice making.

Back at the club scraping out Wednesday nights flood.

One of the nice parts of ice making is being alone working a good bit of the time.

One of the down parts is being alone with your own thoughts for hours on end.

Flood scrape days are the epitome of this.
