So to me, that’s a good system. A useful and unique identifier, but one linked to a deeply personal and human identifier, but one that I have the freedom to change any time for any reason.

I have a number of hobby horses but one of them is “name matching sucks” and if you disagree it’s because you’ve never tried to use names as an identifier
Birthdate and name matches are causing US Citizens to get arrested in error by ICE as they board airplanes.
This is the same level of rigor they're bringing to claims of fraudulent voting, and is obvious as an error-prone method to anyone who has taken an introductory stats class.

for me, biggest red flag self-identifier is ‘raconteur’
"Polymath" is one of the single worst self-identifiers out there, right up there with "high IQ" and "autodidact".
I'd be super worried to see someone self-identify as a "polymath" even if they were an actual polymath (and the same, respectively, w/ "high IQ" and "autodidact")

To my non tech normies, PSA: when you share a link, everything after the ? is tracking. Those “query parameters” tell companies exactly how you arrived, what app you clicked, which ad or email sent you, sometimes a unique identifier tied to you. You can delete everything after the question mark.
