Even on Coruscant, the packaged products available for sale are *incredibly* light on writing.
The central marketplaces of cities (like the Malgan Market, here) are almost completely devoid of signage.
Highly technical interfaces are unlabeled, and oft as not use ideograms.

Mine are very idiosyncratic. Right hand: a friend who's a woad painter did the design for me. Fingers are linear b ideograms except for pinky. Thumb also has monas hieroglyphica. Left hand unfinished, just a sator square.
