The fact that the cartoon landscape is so bear these days is so sad. Before u go but the idie scence is thriving kinda alot pilots and one shots and whatever Glitch gets. However i miss when cartoons from certain places had house style maybe not visually but in term of writing.

If I had a nickel for every time I planned a cosplay for an in-developmeny idie game, only for said game to fall apart and be canceled, id have two nickels which isnt a lot but it's weird it happened twice.

On this note, the idie-folk duo Charm of Finches have been on my radar for a couple of years now & I went to a small show they did last night and they're incredibly talented & fantastic.
I cannot stress enough how helpful it is when you like a thing that someone created (like, say, a book they wrote) & you TELL PEOPLE ABOUT IT. Word of mouth can be an incredible tool, yes, even if you don't think you're a fancy influencer with an incredible following. Your recommendations go places!
