A gentle but honest review of #IdoloidVirtuaConcert2024, a 🧵 - because vocal synth concerts are one of my special interests, and I think a lot can be learned from analyzing them.

Disclaimer / credentials in an image with alt text so i don't have to make them their own post in the thread.
Disclaimer: Just as a base line, I want to clarify I will only be talking about the MMD / stage direction aspects of the concert. I'm not going to be talking about the actual Utau banks or the tuning / mixing because that is not my area of expertise. I will also not be going into depth on the setlist itself since this is fanmade and only an hour long. I also want to make it clear that the only people that I know as mutuals who have utaus in this concert are AxelCode and Henby. But I will not be checking who made which MMD videos in order to try to be unbiased. Credentials / "who are you to talk" I have been running an IRL Vocaloid Fanlive for over 10 years now locally, and I ran both Piko Live partys. I've also done more indepth threads on magical mirai before on twitter, but I'm avoiding that hell site rn so bsky has to deal with me now instead. Idoloid cover art with the logo and all 11 performers lined up behind it.
