Ordering Ektachrome. I know film seems expensive, but consider that the list price for an 18-exposure roll of Kodachrome in 1935 was $3.50. (Herb Keppler, 1985) That's not quite $82 in our little 2025 dollars. Yeah, suddenly you wanted a meter.... #believeinfilm #prespective #ILoveYouMoreThanKodak

A color film photograph of a Rhododendron. Rhododendron, from Ancient Greek ῥόδον, meaning "rose", and δένδρον, meaning "tree", is a very large genus of about 1,024 species of woody plants in the heath family. This photograph is randomized by the end of the film roll, a large blank area, and a resulting software glitch in the conversion from negative to "positive" image. I like it a lot.

A color film photograph of the former Pennsylvania Station in Dover, DE. SAH Archipedia sez: "Railroad stations once served as triumphal portals to American towns and cities, as this temple-form building recalls. Its Doric portico of wood is heroically massive, as are its wide eaves with mutules. It is reminiscent of Thomas Jefferson's Pavilions at the University of Virginia. The brick building's facade is composed of a series of pilasters and relieving arches under a hipped roof. Massey, a lawyer for the Pennsylvania Railroad, convinced the company to replace the original Italianate station built by the Delaware Railroad (1853–1860), the coming of which had invigorated the southern part of the state." A color film photograph of the former Pennsylvania Station in Dover, DE. The beautiful clock was made by The Verdin Company of Cincinnati, OH. "The Verdin Company is a manufacturer of bronze bells, clocks and towers based in Cincinnati, Ohio in the United States. The company has been making, restoring, and repairing bells for use in bell and clock towers, peals, chimes, and carillons since 1842.[1] The company also manufactures electronic carillons, street clocks, glockenspiels, and monuments. There is now an organ division serving churches and other institutions combining organ and bell music."

Fantastic! If you know the history of this grouping, let me know.
