‘La Loon’

A remix of an acrylic painting I did in a recent class. I used #ImageFlux app to blend. Fun stuff!

I have a sketchbook in which I do abstracts - I aim for 1x day but in the spring that’s more like 2-3x week). Here’s one that got the digital treatment (blending into MEs using snapseed & ImageFlux) that I worked on yesterday for today’s theme of #vibrant for #blueskyartshow

Abstract image with splotches of deep blue, light teal, salmon, pinks, reds, bit of green and some deep yellow. Splatters and squiggly lines too.

Notes from the field. This is straight out of camera/imageflux app … playing in the rain with manipulating instax film. I was too cold. #BlueskyMonday

Variety of blues from deep navy to pale robin with royals in between. Dark areas with dark frame around three sides, dark and blue marks scratched in.

Am in Oaxaca de Juárez for a bit so here’s a nice #iPhone #abstractphotography image I did this morning, using the multiple exposure app ImageFlux. It’s a new app that is worth checking out if you are a creative / #abstract photographer. The developer is adding stuff at recommendations of users.

An abstract image of the andador in Oaxaca de Juárez with colorful flying ribbons and pink, blue, grey buildings.

Clouds out my window are always a moment for getting out my phone camera (used the ImageFlux app to get this multiple exposure)
#Stunday #Sunday #stundaysunday I never know the right hashtags lol #Abstractphotography #AbstractArt #MobilePhotography

A highly saturated and contrast-y image of clouds in orange/yellow and blue against dark background and black lines going across and up/down.

One of my fav things to do at art museums is to find visual or otherwise links among the art that I then recombine together with my phone (app is ImageFlux). This has Joan Mitchell, Toshiko Takaezu, & Taissir Abdelgadir (painting, sculpture, batik). #AbstractPhotography #MobilePhotography

Almost gauzy bluesh grey background with a couple areas more defined - one
with cream color one darker blue.

1st time participating, edited @rjrock.bsky.social foto for the #Postprocess #Challenge #EraShift
into post-painterly abstraction era. And it was a challenge since what I usually start with is already more/less abstract but color is color.
Processing details in Alt!
#EastCoastKin #ECK

My challenge was 1st to take the scene from realism to abstraction and 2nd to find an abstract that was purely about color and shape, as works by Ellsworth Kelly, Frank Stella, etc show.
All post processing to get here was done on an iPhone using Snapseed and ImageFlux. Tweaks to color & rotation & cropping in Snapseed, saving different copies. - Took those copies into ImageFlux for multiple exposure treatment, several iterations with various blend modes (more drastic blend modes like linear light, subtract, etc). Back to Snapseed for more cropping, changing hue colors, saving multiple copies to use in Image Flux, & back to Snapseed for final crops, reducing contrast, hue saturation changes.

Me, immersed in Frankenthaler

Got a chance to see the Helen Frankenthaler exhibit at Gagosian. A-maxing!
Did a little in-camera ME with my phone & #imageflux app. It’s how I felt, wanted to be wrapped in her painting
