It is all about The Ig Nobel Prizes, Indian Ig winners, and why we find some weird science more respectable than others. More importantly, I did my best to have the book reflect the philosophy and values that the Igs stand for and that the truly unique Marc Abrahams built over a lifetime of tremendous, irreplaceable positivity and joy. This wonderful cover was designed by Shadab Khan and illustrated by Jeevanath Viswanath of Penguin Random House. And it was edited brilliantly by Karthik Venkatesh! A grazing cow with zebra-like stripes stands inside an enormous conical laboratory flask. Further back, flasks contain a pizza slice and a banana peel, referencing unrelated scientific investigations that were taken seriously.
