we need godels incompleteness theorem but for Everything

In that aspect the US is pretty stable, which doesn't mean that you couldn't establish a dictate, but you must be clever to do that. Pretty difficult when the main hitting criteria are incompleteness and loyalty to The Clown. 2/2

I honestly think the lack of secure parking across the city is just as much of a hurdle as the incompleteness of our network.

Personally I feel similar about physics, as I don't believe that physics is fundamentally inferior to math. But we have no incompleteness theorem or "NoTOE"-theorem there (yet).

Mysterious and just weird enough to hold my interest while I watched and generally good performances.

It had an incompleteness, though, and thus I haven’t really thought about it much since.

so if you are cloned and have started this line of thinking, you and your clone will have identical but incomplete understandings of each other (and will be aware of this incompleteness) -- how do you reconcile it? simple: gay sex.

There’s a reason they use terms like “femoids” to describe cis women, it’s because they firmly believe (like Ayn Rand also believed) that women are simply incomplete men, that the Y chromosome is a critical different that women don’t have and that women suffer incompleteness without the man

How do you know that you love, really love, somebody? A litmus test from philosopher Martha Nussbaum and Proust www.themarginalian.org/2017/01/16/m...
How Do You Know That You Love Somebody? Philosopher Martha Nussbaum’s Incompleteness Theorem of the Heart’s Truth, from Plato to Proust
“The alternations between love and its denial, suffering and denial of suffering … constitute the most essential and ubiquitous structural feature of the human heart.”

Thanks for giving more context on this pre-print. I was wandering at what point incompleteness will be an issue for AI.

No One
I need no one
to complete my incompleteness.
I am not a missing piece
waiting for someone else's puzzle.

Anyway, I really hope the insane backlash to the post wakes him up

Who cares if a game can never be truly 100% complete to the vision, the incompleteness of video games is what makes them human.

The imperfections truly add to the unique experience, its part of what makes ZE so special in my eyes

Fractured statues and conceptual art practices reveal how intentional incompleteness, dismantling, and symbolic materials shape political and lyrical meanings across cultures.

Oh yeah, and finally: Godel's incompleteness theorem
October 27, 2026 at 10:01 PM
I think ppl say that because they like the balance between black and white more. However, it should be noted that both her and Pyra were designed to have a sense of incompleteness with Pneuma being the completed version. I personally don’t agree with either complaints.

Social choice impossibility > Gödel's incompleteness > undecidability of computation > an universal best utility function can not exist > there is no best goal to have > alignment between goals can never end > open ended recursive alignment as solution

So I was thinking about Gödel's Second Incompleteness Theorem, which is easier to show if you have the Bernays conditions. The one I'm interested in is: if statement S is provable, then Proof(S) holds, that is "S is provable" is provable.

I mentioned to someone about the earthquake/night stuff I did 9 years ago. So I've thought up more tests since. 1 is to the extent it is caused by network incompleteness (a reason I heard a lot back in the day) it should go away over time with more completeness. But it isn't (for 1.5-2.5, post 2014)

The first concerns discovery, the second coverage, the third selection. Keeping those distinctions visible makes incompleteness describable without pretending that a longer bibliography would settle every limit.
