Wife and I didn’t celebrate Easter this year. We chose to go to ceremony instead. Thats our resistance. Maybe it’s a small gesture but it feels great. #indigenize #decolonize

The general dynamic is one where settlers seek to become Righteously Indigenous by simultaneously degrading actual indigenous people & certain groups of _exogenous_ others. Both are necessary to “indigenize” the settler & erase the reality of colonization.

It's ok to admire Native cultures and buy crafts from Native artisans that are not sacred. It's not ok to pan Indigenize yourself and call Natives angry when we try to call you in. This is destructive and anti Native
