l600 entertainment system, game console, cancelled. official website (2000) 'based on the linux operating system, 30 titles were expected to be available at launch like quake ІІІ arena, unreal tournament, heavy gear Il & sim city 2000.' web.archive.org/web/20000407... archive.org/details/game...

When the Steam machine was announced it reminded me of an attempt at a Linux based console 25 years ago.

The Indrema L600.

They boasted 30 games at launch, included a DVD player, a GeForce 3 and many other features. All for 300 USD.

Very ambitious for the time but sadly it was never to be.

Me and the Indrema/Extremaverse writers are planning my first cartoon, and you can help too! The deadline is April 30th: www.castingcall.club/projects/z-8...

The #indrema portal is an awesome console, shame it doesn’t exist in our world

tux racer was originally a commercial game itself. Probably would've been the killer app for the Indrema, had that existed

Lo dicho, otra vez lo de Indrema.

the timeline about a failed video game company and console succeeding is now on bluesky

These come from one of Indrema's exclusive titles in the Indremaverse and Extremaverse, XSona. These are high school freshmen who get transported to the titular planet.
The guy on the left is Joe, also Indrema's main mascot
The girl next to him is the Princess Daisy of Indrema, Mel

btw indrema sux lol
