- Shadow and Sonic look to be in the middle of wrestling with each other. Sonic is sneering angrily at Shadow and crying, and Shadow looks distressed SHADOW: No, no, I've been where you are now! Sonic -- SONIC: What? You "Feel my pain?" I'm "Better than this?" SONIC: Now I "Know what it's like" huh? - Shadow leans in and shouts at Sonic. Sonic looks stunned. Both are crying. SHADOW: I wouldn't wish that fate on ANYONE! SHADOW: I just don't want you to make my MISTAKES! - Silhouette of Sonic and Shadow, full shot. They're leaning into each other. SONIC: ... You're shaking. SHADOW: Please. Just let me help you. SONIC: ... Shad. SHADOW: ... PLEASE. - Close-up. Shadow and Sonic are leaning in more. They look like they're about to kiss. SONIC: You ARE. SONIC: I'm sorry I didn't realize until now. SONIC: But... You are helping me. SONIC: And y'know... There are worse people to turn into than you. - Sonic and Shadow kiss.

Panel focused on Ivan. He looks like he’s shell-shocked. He’s sweating and looking around. IVAN: Where… Where… In the next panel is Drago Wolf, looking like an asshole. He’s cupping his hands around his mouth to project his voice. IVAN: ! DRAGO: We wanna see the clowns! ‘Nuffa this stupid act! DRAGO: You’re boring! Ivan is red in the face with anger. He’s gritting his teeth, furious. IVAN: I – I am boring?! IVAN: I have just made little dog out of iron! Shot focused on Drago. He doesn’t look very impressed. DRAGO: So? DRAGO: I know like… Four or five guys who can do that. Easy. Full shot. Ivan, now flustered, grabs at an off-panel item. IVAN: O-oh yes?! Well! Can your four or five of people do… Big bombastic shot of Ivan lifting a whole large safe over his head while struggling a bit. IVAN: Hnn-Rgh! IVAN: This?! Medium close-up of Drago, still looking super unimpressed. DRAGO: … DRAGO: Yeah?

Slim med. panel. Close-up 1/4th view from behind Ivan’s face. Tusk should be visible but not his eyes. IVAN: Y-you… Long med. panel. Ivan has whirled around and is marching toward the reader (3/4ths view), straight out of the panel borders. He looks furious. Renfield stands smugly behind him. IVAN: … I will show you! RENFIELD: Sure. Bleed panel. Long shot, high angle of Ivan as he marches to the center of the circus ring. No one’s really paying attention to him. They’re chatting amongst themselves. SFX: CHATTER CHATTER Mid-shot of Ivan, who is looking around in anger and annoyance. SFX: CHATTER CHATTER Close-up of Ivan’s trunk, raised as he trumpets to get everyone’s attention. SFX: TWOOOT Focus on the audience, now staring at Ivan, a bit startled. His large fist sits firmly in the foreground, hanging from the top of the panel.

Borderless panel with Ivan at a dynamic angle or some sort (sorry future-me) pointing at the off-panel audience. He smiles with confidence. IVAN: But! IVAN: By end of this act, I will amaze you! IVAN: This is promise! The next few panels radiate off of the first like large sunbeams, and inside each one is a part of Ivan’s act as he struggles to impress a fickle audience. He lifts two anvils at the same time, then breaks a log in half with his bare hands. He then starts twisting up an iron bar. Separated from the radiating sunlight shaped panels is a focus on Ivan’s hands as he holds out the iron bar (twisted to look like a balloon animal dog) to show his audience. Everyone looks either unimpressed or downright bored. Med. Close up of Ivan as his cheerful expression falls completely. ??? [Off-panel]: Booo!

1. Low angle floor-level with Renfield as he gets up with the help of his cane, fully turning his back to Ivan. Ivan is looking shocked. Ivan and Renfield are being given a side-eye by Snowstorm The Hedgehog [Skoot] who is busy putting makeup on a clown. Chao [Chaogongoozles] is in the background giving a side-eye as well among a crowd of other circus stagehands. RENFIELD: Now get out there and lift something heavy. IVAN: But – You – You cannot be doing this! 2. Side angle with Renfield marching forward, looking frustrated while Ivan runs to stand in Renfield’s way, hands held up to stop him. RENFIELD: Just did. IVAN: This circus is last one still running! If fired, Ivan’s career as strong man will be over! RENFIELD: Ah, darn! What a shame! Too bad that ain’t my problem. 3. Mid shot low angle of Ivan (so he’s staring directly at the reader), now pink in the face with anger as he gestures toward himself frantically. He is furious, but also looking like he’s on the verge of crying. IVAN: What about Ivan’s fans?! 4. Close-up of Renfield, looking stunned. 5. Same shot, but now Renfield’s face has broken into a shit-eating grin. RENFIELD: Your… “Fans”? RENFIELD: Ivan… What fans? 6. Back to Ivan’s face, close-up shot now as he listens with a shocked expression. RENFIELD [Off-panel from below]: You’re a hack with a bloated ego who should’a retired years ago. RENFIELD: You’re filler. Something to look at while folks are finding their seats. That’s why you’re first. RENFIELD: The real show begins when you leave the ring. 7. Extreme close-up on Ivan’s eyes. He’s still shocked. RENFIELD: No one cares about strongmen anymore.
