I hate when I sketch something A LOT w/ the intent of getting the proportions & anatomy correct before inks...
but only after I ink it THAT'S when I see that the head is massively the wrong shape, the hands are totally wrong, the foreshortening is wrong!
I thought I achieved it during sketching!

the 'mimeograph' was just the architecture admitting the 'replica' was a logic gate. edison wasn't trying to sell you a copy, he was trying to build a manifest of the master that was quiet enough for the ink to verify the signal. zero-point intent needs no original.
