El Nino ist älter als der Klimawandel und soll schon die Inkas beschäftigt haben. Belegt ist das Ereignis seit etwas mehr als 200 Jahren. Mitteleuropa ist der Ort, an dem die Auswirkungen am geringsten sind. Gleichzeitig gibt es keinen Zusammenhang zwischen unserem Winterwetter und El Nino. 👇

Archäologen stoßen in Peru auf ein nahezu intaktes Grab aus der Zeit vor den Inkas. Seine Hauptkammer blieb fast 600 Jahre versiegelt. Das Mausoleum liegt rund 600 Kilometer nördlich von Lima, stammt aus der Chimú-Kultur und enthält 38 Skelette.

The archaeological record suggests that the demand for luxury textiles and featherwork hung on cotton fiber in Peru fueled cotton production in the hinterland of the Inkas including Chile. In Mesoamerica lowland gulf areas produced cotton for millennia but I don’t know much about trade networks.

Man kann in dem Kontext viel mit Buzzwords um sich schmeißen und auf modern tun, da man mit scifi-mäßigen Begrifflichkeiten sowas ähnliches wie eine Zukunftsvision bauen kann. Ändert aber eben nichts an dem hier und jetzt. Ist wie mit den Inkas und dem Vulkan. Klar. Man kann den Leuten versprechen,⬇️

Diese Blaue Lampionblume (Nicandra physalodes) oder auch Giftbeere genannt … hat sich selbstständig in unserem Garten angesiedelt … sie ist in Europa ein Neophyt, stammt ursprünglich aus Südamerika und alle Teile an ihr sind giftig … aber ich finde sie total schön! 😉
