The most egregious misuse of the scoreboard is that during the large majority of the time the ball is not in play (and 100% of the between innings time) there is no scoreboard or ribbon board in the entire ballpark showing any information at all about the game. Not even the score or the inning.

I was thinking they are probably hoping for 3 innings for Luzardo, 4 for Painter if they are still in a competitive game through 7. Then McFarlane. The 9th depends on the score, of course. Do you burn Duran if you are 3+ behind?

Agree. He’s had enough difficulty with his first innings this year starting clean. Certainly can’t give him a dirty inning as starting point.
