Happy Halloween with a scifi Saturday post. More Inquisition characters, including some members of the Sanctifier Kill Team and an Inquisition Interrogator converted from the Warhammer Heroes model, with a Tempestus Scion pistol and a hammer I had laying around. #inq28

Learning Kill Team 2018 as an engine for #Inq28 (Inquisitor 28mm) for my gaming group. The Spice Maureens aren't doing too well against the Necrons, but we'll see if the Emperor is with them this mission.

Yes, it's Inquisitor28, often just called Inq28.
There was also a reskinned Necromunda called Inquisimunda.
Do a search for it on Reddit and you should find info and links to it and groups.

#Necromunda: Roleplay will not be released, #GamesWorkshop confirmed. The minis are still coming, the RPG is not. If you want roleplaying in the 41st millennium anyway, here is the history of the 40k RPGs and how Inquisitor became #Inq28.

Necromunda Roleplay – What happened in the Underhive?
When Games Workshop showed Necromunda: Roleplay during this year’s Big Autumn Preview, it looked like a done deal, and I was instantly reminded of Inquisitor, the 54mm scale Specialist Games …

Actually, that's a lie: my first thought was "Imperium Maledictum already exists, is this a warning sign that the licence is running out?" But it was the first thought about the RPG itself ;-)
Coupled with "I wonder how the Inq28 community will greet this."

Bit of a #kitbash of some Perry and GW bits to make an Imperial Gourdsman. I’m thinking of doing a solo campaign of 28psalm or #Stargrave and what better warband to have than the forces of The Gourd Emperor. #inq28 #grimdark

Very much inspired by me discovering the inq28 scene on instagram, just marveling at those freaks covering $50 models with layers of cheese cloth, jewelry chain, and plaster.

There's various fan systems built on the old Inquisitor rules yet using 28mm models.
The most well known is Inq28 (Inquisitor28).
There's another which is based off Necromunda with Inquisitor adaptions, which I think is called Inquisimunda.

Thinking that the #KillTeam 2018 rulebooks I picked up will make a good ruleset for #Inq28. My players will control the inquisitorial warband with some occasional space marine support while I referee and run the enemies and scenario. Could be a nice change of pace from symmetrical 1v1 games.

I wish I knew some folks locally who played Inq28. That's something I've wanted to get into for a long long time.
Once I finish with my 40k projects (I'm in the process of bowing out of that game), I can't wait to scavenge my bits to make some Inquisition warbands. I've wanted to do that for ages.
