A macro photo of the head and forebody of a tan mantid against a light background. The mantid has a triangular head with slender antennae rising upwards at an acute angle. Its large eyes are grayish brown. It's raptorial arms descend from the front of its body and 2 of its green rear legs are just out of focus.
