I'm excited to release Just the Browser! It helps you remove AI features, ads, shopping integrations, and other annoyances from desktop web browsers.
This project includes configuration files, a simple setup script, and guides for manual installation. It supports Chrome, Firefox, and MS Edge.

While almost everyone was focused on how to build more capable autonomous agents, feels to me the real breakthrough is:
integrations, integrations, integrations
The reason everyone is SO excited about MCP is that it's "just" an integration layer... with dozens, hundreds, thousands of integrations!

They aren’t going to meaningfully back away from the AI integrations and the AI integrations are invasive poison. Even people that like that stuff don’t want it at a system wide level.

Dagegen zu sein, dass man rechtswidrige Grenzkontrollen macht, kontraproduktive Integrations-Kürzungen oder verfassungswidrige Deportationen heißt nicht, dass man nicht Islamismus bekämpft. Im Gegenteil, nichts davon bekämpft Islamismus, es fördert ihn teilweise sogar.

The entire Microsoft 365 lineup runs so unreliably, slows down my computer processes, and frustrates our clients by asking them to log in even when they don't need to.
But at least it's also an expensive subscription with poor integrations that also occasionally deletes saved folders for no reason.

I literally warned y'all about exactly this kind of harmful outcome from GPT integrations, & even told you *why/how* it'd happen. And if it's showing in résumé sorting, then bet it's about break as having been happening in patient portals & police reports & lending application sorters & on & on & on
