I'm always a sucker for a spinning box set. Also for Mary-Louise Parker being very Mary-Louise Parker.

#IntermissionPost for the first public performance of The Tao of the World, and it feels SOOOO different for Stratford yet also has the energy of a zany Shakespeare comedy.
It's kind of Crazy Rich Horny Asians.
AND I AM HERE FOR IT!
So far very fun!

We've become so accustomed to Cirque shows and Cirque level standards but there really is a reason for that. They're just such DAZZLING BEAUTIFUL TRANSCEDENT SHOWS with level of details and visuals that are unmatched.

Oh yah, Toronto has the West End Paranormal Activity cast!

I'm still scared.

I should have known a musical on the Champs-Elysees would have English surtitles, but really, dancing chorus boys in sailor costumes (and tight white pants) needs no translation.

But does a French whimsical romance need translation anyways? Super cute so far. #IntermissionPost

#IntermissionPost Calam Lynch is gonna be big someday, no?
Noah Ritter could be too.
And Eleanor Worthington-Cox is one BBC or ITV series away from stardom. She already has an Olivier and another nomination under her belt and she's only 24.

First time seeing this musical. I know it's called Kimberly Akimbo but #IntermissionPost, so far it's more the Thomas Winiker as Seth Show.

#IntermissionPost love these weird non-narrative ballets which I presume Procession is sort of a mourning in what feels like an Italian Irish wake. But as a ballet.

#IntermissionPost still Disney fun but so far I have some thoughts on the direction.

Luke Brady though sounds great on stage and WAY better than the promo clips and PR videos for this show.

#IntermissionPost at Bright Star. I knew something about a baby but boy this plotting is WILD.

At the Royal Bah-lay (as said like Billy Elliot).
Here for Like Water for Chocolate. A movie I meant to see since it came out but still haven't. Only had like over 30 years?! (I guess I could have also read the originating book).
The ballet so far, so gorgeous. #IntermissionPost

#IntermissionPost Tis lovely so far, but it certainly helps Drew McOnie choreographs this with his mix of traditional that feels modern dancing (and casts it with many of his very hot dancers ensemble).
Also I kinda love this modern set of the hills of Brigadoon within the trees of Open Air.

I'm a little surprised there's no indication Joe Alwyn is also in this unless you look into the cast credits but his role is not small, though also, while I don't know Ibsen's original story at all, doesn't seem to be the twist either?

Still #IntermissionPost but my gawd Rachel Zegler really is the REAL DEAL

Also kudos to the casting cause I could figure out right away which character must be younger Winona Ryder and younger David Harbour. #IntermissionPost

#IntermissionPost enjoying it so far.
I guess I should start watching Stranger Things the TV show?

I have definitely never seen Oliver! before.
And I'm surprised at how few songs I know for such an old classic.

NT MONEY!!!
All the props and costumes so far...
And the large ensemble for such a sprawling (and so far delightful) play.
Yup... NT MONEY

#IntermissionPost do I dare say we may have a 2nd amazing British musical for the 2nd year in a row?
The worst theatre seating but the best musical surprise so far.
