We went through this moment before when online banks first appeared. (I used one called ING Direct). Brick and mortars had to actually provided competitive rates on savings accounts for a moment. They then acquired all the high interest internet banks and lowered rates back down to near zero.

Tbh, disappointed that dad isn’t reply. As I told my therapist, we don’t really talk about mom. We mostly skirt around her. Unless dad is telling someone about how her family never knew about her conversion and my uncle, her brother, found out at the funeral. Sibling & I never knew it was a secret.
