New review up, and returning to the world of the Manics for a little bit to look at bassist Nicky Wire's second solo album that came out a couple of years back. His solo debut found him explore his musical voice; this sees him stuck in a rut. 2023's Intimism.

#NP Nicky Wire | Intimism

Hard to believe that I'm finally only getting around to my RSD26 albums after nearly three weeks. Still the Wire's sophomore solo's first outing on vinyl is an absolutely cracker and a perfect place to start. A firm favourite since release, so great to have a copy on wax 😎

RSD in the US sucks so much compared to the UK because no fucking record store here is going to stock the lime green RSD exclusive vinyl release of nicky wire's 2nd solo album which looks ridiculous. instead we get yankslop.
