The Other day I posted photos of the Giant Leopard Moth, a white moth with iridescent dark blue spots( bsky.app/profile/luxo... ) #Moths are often quite variable in appearance and sometimes these moths have rings instead (or in addition to) the spots.

Perfect storm of factors - best we could think of to do *something* was to put two compost bins in our garden to generate invetebrates and insects. If every household with a yard or garden had one, that to me seems a potentially bigger benefit than the hollow brick campaign.

I didn't see many dragonflies on my trip to Essex on Tuesday but this Brown Argus #butterfly feeding on Common Fleabane was a nice find toward the end of the day. #UKWildlife #invetebrates
