New setup, 2020 JDM Met X the Expride 1610M. Went with 10lb invizx for the line and changed out the handle for the USDM one which is bigger.

I’m not a big fan of ordering rods and having them shipped but I’m also impatient and this fit the length I wanted with the lure size I needed for small glides and swims and it was right there. The St. Croix options were very limited at my local BPS

Well maybe a small one. All purchased at super clearance prices or from Amazon warehouse deals. And yeah I’ve got 20+ reels, a dozen in heavy rotation. My favorites? Invizx, tatsu, subline FCsniper/assassin, maxima ultra green mono(OG💪🏼).Posted by WannaBe_achBum_Goals

Been in the river with it a few times this summer. Throwing some heavier stuff and I think I’ve finally gotten comfy with it. Going to a lake this weekend in Parry Sound, On. I think I gotta take this? First bait already rigged up on 15lbs Invizx. BassX 7,1 MH and a Piscifun Torrent II. Caught this absolute BEAUTY! On a BPS MicroLite rod w/ an okuma ceymar ODT-500A reel. 5lb power pro braid to a seaguar invizx 4lb fluoro leader. Rapala HJ-10 Firetiger. The jerkbait was definitely too big for the setup but boy was it a delight! Magnificent fish.Posted by DirtBikeLyfe
