Tennisprofi Alexander Zverev will seinen Aufenthalt beim ATP-Turnier in München in dieser Woche dazu nutzen, das Champions-League-Spiel des FC Bayern gegen Real Madrid am Mittwoch (21.00 Uhr/DAZN) live vor Ort zu verfolgen. "Ich werde auf jeden Fall im Stadion sein, egal, ob es das Turnier zulässt oder nicht", sagte er am Montag auf der Anlage des MTTC Iphitos mit einem Grinsen.
Für den Ausgang des Rückspiels im Viertelfinale der Königsklasse hat der Weltranglistendritte eine klare Prognose. "Wenn Manuel Neuer wieder so einen Tag hat wie vor einer Woche, verlieren wir kein Spiel mehr in diesem Jahr", sagte er. Der Hamburger ist langjähriger Anhänger des deutschen Rekordmeisters, er war schon mehrfach bei Spielen in der Münchner Arena, auch während des ATP-Turniers.
Selbst aktiv wird Zverev am Dienstag. In seinem ersten Match bei dem mit 2,56 Millionen Euro dotierten Turnier trifft er als an Nummer eins gesetzter Titelverteidiger auf Miomir Kecmanovic - der Serbe ist der einzige Spieler neben Jannik Sinner (Italien) und Carlos Alcaraz (Spanien), gegen den der Hamburger seit Beginn der Australian Open in diesem Jahr verloren hat.
