AI slop schadenfreude. One of Irish politics biggest losers managed to post an image of himself behind a podium that basically reads "This dick".

Irish writers, artists, musicians, translators, and anyone else who's labour is threatened by bullshit gAI:

This is who you're going to have to direct your emails and calls to and really drive home that Ireland does not want this slop here disrupting livelihoods and spreading misinformation.

Worth following for glimpses of actual Irish heritage, rather than AI fantasy slop.

Oh, and look up the "Garryduff Bird", evidence of how a small east Cork community in the sixth or seventh century produced art using the best craft traditions of the Irish AND European early medieval period.

Me watching a shark movie from this year that clearly is full of AI slop vs me watching an Italian Jaws knock off from 1981 with Vic Morrow doing his best Robert Shaw but also for some reason Irish...

One of the funniest (and embarrassing) examples of AI slop is this special Irish stamp celebrating Daniel O' Connell who fought against the British oppression of Irish Catholics..and apparently even in the 1700s loved a bit of catch up telly (from his santa sleigh)

Look, we've been over this and when people from the Wesht of Ireland say "mom" this is a continuation of the Irish pronunciation of "Mam".

However, the use of "mom" in this AI slop poster is plainly an Americanism.
So this is an example of the absolute shite that the Irish peoples party have up around galway city and county as election posters for this by election. Their candidate is AJ Cahill, who seems to be the entire party and self funded. I've reported it to both councils. 1/3

At a Comhaltas cumann's anniversary concert last night and one old stalwart, getting an award for years of service, in his speech singled out people "New to Ireland" for thanks for supporting Irish music. While it's the anti-migrants whose ideas of culture is AI slop posters with Conor McGregor.

Damn the ai slopocalypse. YouTube recommends me a modern song redone as an Irish folk song. I check the details and it's machine slop.

My disappointment is abundant.

I wonder what one would get if one ordered from this site? Maybe a print out of this AI slop?

The ads on YouTube get worse every day.

The Irish are rightly famed for their charm, their loquacity, their warmth.

Why on earth would you want to deny a young Dubliner the chance to showcase those qualities to the world for this lazy AI slop?

The Irish are trolling England with AI slop. Joke's on them, I'm gonna let my house burn down out of pure spite.
Have you tested your smoke alarm lately?

We recommend testing them once a week and you should have one installed per floor of your home.

I know I am as guilty as the rest of ye but I think we will have to accept that from now on (or rather this decade on) most UK & Irish newssite articles are semi-AI slop and drivel and we may need to stop quote posting so much. Unless you're Angry People In Local Newspapers.

But just a thought.

A special app you can install to disable like and repost functions on all social media for at least the last fortnight of the campaign, an AI slop checker that says "Greyfriar's Bobby? No you won't be posting that", an occasional reminder the British Army did in fact murder Northern Irish civilians
