#NowPlaying #IrrAppExt 6/6: “Vegetativer Strömung” (2024) is the fifth installment in the #Orgonosis series. ❝I’ve enjoyed diving into this particular ocean once again and I hope you enjoy listening to it.❞ irrappext.bandcamp.com/album/vegeta...

#NowPlaying #IrrAppExt 5/6: “Orgonosis #4” was a spontaneous continuation of the #Orgonosis series in 2011. Each successive part of original series was done by manipulating the previous installment mixed w/ new field recordings, this used just the 3 previous. irrappext.bandcamp.com/album/orgono...

#NowPlaying #IrrAppExt 4/6: Originally released in 2007, “Cosmic Superimposition” is the second in the #Orgonosis series, using component elements of the first album, interwoven with field recordings made at 5 different times of the day over 5 consecutive days. irrappext.bandcamp.com/album/cosmic...

#NowPlaying #IrrAppExt 3/6: Side note: #WilhelmReich referenced “Ozeanische Gefühle” to describe it as the natural state of every healthy organism as connected to and engaged with the world around it, with its energies flowing from the center outwards.

#NowPlaying #IrrAppExt 2/6: Here is the original version. It contains a second piece called, “The Demiurge's Presumption”, which is slated to be reissued on its own in the future. Everything you hear has been constructed from various tape recordings. helenscarsdale.bandcamp.com/album/ozeani...

#NowPlaying #IrrAppExt 1/6: Originally given a proper release in 2004, “Ozeanische Gefühle” is the first in the #Orgonosis series, meaning “oceanic feelings” in German, coined by the French playwright #RomainRolland in a letter to Freud. irrappext.bandcamp.com/album/ozeani...

#NowPlaying Breaking the silence (well, sorta) with a short thread 🧵about what was originally a three-part series of longform, soundscapy music by #IrrAppExt called #Orgonosis, inspired by the life and work of #WilhelmReich. These albums have now been remastered digitally.

#BandcampFriday 🧵 8/?: The fifth installment of “Convoluntary Drift”, this year’s monthly series by #IrrAppExt is out now. irrappext.bandcamp.com/album/2024-m...
