The tactical asset completed its inaugural mission by safely retrieving an isolated twin-engine utility transport aircraft from active combat conditions inside Saudi Arabia and returning it over 2,500 miles back to base. The creation of the strategic asset addresses a distinct operational hazard for short-takeoff-and-landing (STOL) operators worldwide.
