There is a quiet, particular kind of grief that is being the easy, peacekeeping child (Isolde is not a child but you get me)
Isolde is selfless and always puts others first
To the detriment of herself. She constantly perceives her own problems as lesser than others so she never brings things that bother her, struggles and the like
It reaches a breaking point when she dies at Ultima Thule
