I encountered this Bursaria truncatella after it "inhaled" a Paramecium. I was hoping to see the Paramecium get sealed into a vacuole, but instead it finally managed to escape! My students have nicknamed Bursaria "Micro Roomba." LOL

It's always special to see this micro "Roomba" called Bursaria truncatella vacuuming up micro things -- especially when you can see it in Darkfield which lets you see internal structures so much more clearly.
