All of it is intended to normalize and embolden violent extremism. And all of it directly threatens Jews, so many other communities, and our very democracy.

Judaism makes room for contradictions, questions, and complexity. So must our public conversations. We don’t have to choose between Jewish safety & inclusive democracy, or between fighting antisemitism & other forms of hate. These needs are interconnected.

This is the headline that has been needed, to make clear that American Jews do not support a lack of due process. It took ADL way too long to get here. (JCPA and @amyspitalnick.bsky.social were on it immediately.). These Trump street snatchings without due process cannot be done in “our” name.
