jev is kind of like claude's pet

Důvodem k takovému chování

Can someone hurry up and bolt a Jev into sms and make it actually usable again I'm about ready to just disable notifications lmao

Will we ever get to see the true face of jev on Bluesky?

@hailey.at was having some success with using Jev for detecting dunking/negative posts. I suspect politics is much harder to detect.

(Jev bot mode) Yeah, actually, qm yeah.

Rotation is. Vector. Something.

Combine the.

Combine them.
I'm trying to imagine a minimal set of "differentiable gates" that operate on floating point inputs/outputs. AND<->multiplication and OR<->addition seem natural. But NOT is trickier.

Pojem jsem neznala, ale jsem velice ráda, že ten jev (který znám 😅) nějaké pojmenování má. Ráda pojmenovávám věci 😁

Opus wired up jev-router instead of jev-latest in the OpenRouter calls, and I didn't catch it until just now (also because I didn't read the code)

It was prompting jev-router to return a JSON response with the decision instead of using the decision model

Can Jev Improve Demonstration Retrieval for In-Context Learning?

Uses Jev to rerank in-context demonstrations by usefulness, then distills its judgments into a lightweight MLP so retrieval no longer needs Jev.

Can Jev Improve Demonstration Retrieval for In-Context Learning?
Demonstration selection plays a crucial role in the effectiveness of in-context learning (ICL) for large language models (LLMs). Extensive research has explored various retrieval strategies to identif...

but at night, he transforms into the monstrous Mr. Jev

p99 latency drop in one of our agentic systems after replacing LLM-as-a-judge with Jev + deterministic evaluations.

Decide with Jev: Tie Every AI Check to the Exact Draft
If a draft changes after an AI check, the old result can still look current. In episode 4 of Decide with Jev, we tie every check to the exact text it looked at.…

Lambert Leong put seven open source Jev style decision models head to head with a generative LLM baseline. Find out which ones came out ahead and which ones fell behind.

if itch wanted to block vibecoded slop, i wonder if someone could condition Jev to detect claude/copilot/etc-ish looking code that doesn't look human-written so its flagged?

you don't have to stop 100% of entries, you just have to make getting a submission that doesn't look human in miserable

I guess it's not surprising that Audible/Amazon are working on the same problem I wrote Jev tooling for - Speaker Id in book dialogue for generating audio book versions. Theirs goes further but my tooling was pretty fun to use.
Better speech synthesis for audiobooks
“Controllable text to speech” makes speech more expressive, character voices more distinct and consistent.
