I have extremely mixed feelings about the Green Lantern show.
It started out strong, like a mix of HBO's Watchmen series and Fargo, but ended up feeling like Smallville mixed with writer (and former CIA agent) Tom King's copaganda and pro-torture jingoism.

If France and Spain had competing tabletop gaming companies they sure as shit would be interested, but they’d rather use fishing to spew jingoism then celebrate British success
This gets said constantly, but it worth reiterating: Games Workshop being bigger than fishing is important to shout about because you wouldn't know it from government talking points, which are rarely about anything creative or artistic. Growth won't involve fish or steel, it will involve goblins.

Seems we're talking past each other. Ultimately, I'd prefer an economics and culture that's inclusionary/inquisitive, not exclusionary/zero-sum. I also wish we discuss the actual benefits and costs of the EU (there are both) over grifters gaslighting us with entitlement jingoism and WW2 nostalgia.
