shout out to 13 year old me, during english class, in a tiny basement class that could hold max 15 students, after our teacher went to the loo, trying to convince my friend to ship gintaka with me by drawing a whole joui4 chart

I keep forgetting that Joui4 and Hijikata are canonically 27, because mentally I've aged them all up to around 33.
Was just reminded that Toshi is in his late 20s and that just sounds SO WRONG, and yet it's true.
Horrible.

If they gave us a Shinsengumi-centric original story I think I'd explode.
Or Joui4 movie, Id die for that too.
But I know they'd probably go for a story that allows them to fit as many fan favourite characters as possible. Which, fair! I'd be happy to see more of the characters I love anyway!

It made me want more Shinsengumi investigative arcs 🧐
Yeah, at least a Joui4 movie to fill in that gap, even a Yorozuya spin-off involving a big job somewhere and then stuff happens, high stakes, etc. C'mon, make it happen, Sorachi & studios!

Was lurking on tumblr and saw a kcd polar exploration AU, and you know what, that's it, Joui4 South Pole party AU, who would leave the tent to die alone in the snow in order to try to save the other three.

This heavily implies that he's never met one either, which is truly an indictment on the sexualities of the Joui4 and also the Kiheitai

also ngl i feel like all of joui4 have a lil bit of selective morality in regards to each other and it gives me life. "oh he's just a little guy" "he did what? he's so quirky haha" "it's ok he's a theater kid" meanwhile the rest of japan like: 🧍
