I presented a new project on gender equality and strategic frameworks at the Japanese Society for Quantitative Political Science #JSQPS. Had a chance to learn about many new cutting edge research, 100% recommended! Tokyo was wonderful - so much to observe and learn from the social context!

JSQPSに、企画運営委員として参加しました (ついでにポスター報告もしました)。初日の懇親会中に、喉が潰れるというアクシデントもありましたが、なんとか無事最後まで乗り切りました。企画運営委員の中では相対的に仕事量が少なかったはずですが、疲れました...。

I attended the meeting as a member of the organizing committee. Thank you to everyone who participated in the meeting (and visited my poster presentation)!

Final day of term! This term I've taught academic writing at Roehampton, stats at Birkbeck, and a guest lecture on social media & psychology at Regent's. Tomorrow off to Japan to see the in-laws, where I'll also be presenting at JSQPS on civilisational populism in Indian/Turkish diasporas!

The Japanese Society for Quantitative Political Science (JSQPS) will hold the 2027 Winter Meeting at the University of Osaka Nakanoshima Center, Osaka. Japan on January 5-6, 2027.
