Diamond Cutters × Star Fox!

Commission for @bluefin.bsky.social

#JTArt | #Sonic | #SonicIDW | #StarFox |
An illustration of the Diamond Cutters team, from the IDW Sonic comics, drawn as Star Fox characters. The characters (Whisper The Wolf, Tangle The Lemur, Lanolin The Sheep & Duo The Cat) are framed like the character select sprites from Star Fox 2, with them front-facing the camera while inside an Arwing's cockpit. The composition has Whisper on a big square at the top, while the others are lined up on smaller squares at the bottom. Each character is wearing clothes similar to the ones worn by the Star Fox team, only with the Restoration symbol (from Sonic Forces) on their left shoulder, and scarves color-matched to each respective character (cyan for Whisper, yellow for Tangle, green for Lanolin, and dark gray for Duo). They also have microphones attached on the left of their faces, with the exception of Duo, who is the odd one out wearing both a microphone and a scouter on his right side. The Arwing background changes for each character to match the model they probably would use, with both Whisper and Duo having the regular all-rounder Arwing, Tangle using the speedy Light Arwing, and Lanolin flying the bulkier Armored Arwing.

#JTArt | #Sonic | #SonicIDW | #MetalGear | #MGSV
Digital drawing featuring four characters from the Sonic The Hedgehog comic series by IDW, all dressed as characters from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The characters are: Lanolin The Sheep, dressed as Venom Snake; Jewel The Beetle, dressed as Kazuhira Miller; Tangle The Lemur, dressed as Revolver Ocelot; and Whisper The Wolf, dressed as Quiet. The composition of the drawing has the characters laid out in a vague upside-down diamond shape, with three full-bodied characters in front and one in the back as a large bust. The characters are posing in reference to each character they're dressed as (Lanolin with her metal arm open in front of her face, Jewel with her left hand on her hip while looking to the side, Tangle making finger guns towards the viewer, and Whisper clutching her rifle ready for combat. On the background, scenes from the comics involving destruction of some kind are displayed in a collage. This variation of the piece features a coloring style directly inspired by the official drawings of the Metal Gear series, drawn by the artist Yoji Shinkawa. It features a blue to gray gradient, with a few white highlights on the three characters on the foreground.

On the right is Shiro, a pale girl with long, straight white hair. She is wearing a white yukata with orange trims, a light blue sash around her waist, a black skirt, white knee high socks and black geta sandals. She also stands prepared to fight, holding a katana on her left hand and a wakizashi on her left. On the bottom left corner of the image is the artist's signature, the letters "JT" carved out of a circle. The circle is colored red and white.

A digital drawing featuring Kane from the Command And Conquer series and the Pokémon Drapion. Drapion, a large reddish scorpion-like creature with white pincers, segmented body, and pointy eyes with small pupils, stands aggressively with its pincers open and tail raised. On the middle of it's pincers are teal circles, and it's eyelids are also teal. Kane, on the right, is dressed in a black military-style uniform with a patch featuring an altered version of the Brotherhood of Nod insignia on the left arm. The Nod insignia's scorpion tail is shaped like the letter N, referencing the insignias of the antagonistic teams from the Pokémon series. Kane has light skin, is bald, and sports a metallic mask that covers the left side of his face. Kane appears contemplative, with his left hand raised to his chin. The background is split horizontally in half, with the bottom half being black and the top being red, with the red half featuring a slightly transparent version of the Nod insignia.

NES Peach!

Jumping (late) on the trend

#JTArt | #Pixelart | #Mario | #NES
A pixel art drawing of Princess Peach in a reimagined style based on the original sprite from Super Mario Bros.. On the top left of the image is the original sprite from the game, while on the top right is the artist's take on it, remaking the proportions but keeping the same palette of just 4 colors (white, black, orange and red) and overall size. Below the two sprites is an original sprite of Peach looking at the viewer winking while making a peace sign with her right hand. This sprite is significantly bigger and thus has more detail, but keeps the same color palette.

Some OC scribbles before going to bed

#JTArt | #BRArt | #Brazillianart | #JTOCs
The image features 13 small sketches of one of my OCs, Fiori Nero. Fiori has black, shoulder-length hair that's shaven on the right side and frequently covers her left eye. The bottom right sketch features a waist up drawing in which Fiori is wearing a spaghetti strap shirt with the left strap draped over her arm. She is looking to her left with her hair covering her left eye, and to her right is a speech bubble saying "...what?". This sketch is based on a drawing I found on Pinterest that I unfortunately was unable to find the original artist. The bottom left sketch is a rendition of the character as a Lego minifigure, with a bow and arrow accessory to her right. The rest of the sketches are of various expressions, raging from unamused, tilting her hear in confusion/curiosity, pure anger, etc. On the top left of the image, the character's name is written in cursive letters.
