We've had cottontails this year for the first time since we've moved here and we're so excited! They look so tiny compared to the jackrabbits.

obvs chickens and jackrabbits are gonna be different, but even with goats and pigs or hogs, the way theyre put together reads as purely an *animal* while you take them apart. deer aint like that. the proportions are different, but the way their muscles map onto their bones feels so much more like us

Beautiful. I used to visit Tucson often and would get up at sunrise and drive to the Saguaro National Monument to see the roadrunners, javelina, jackrabbits, coyote, and everything else that was just getting up or heading to bed. It never got tired.
