#SFFChat Intro. Hey all, Nicole/Ashrah here, your writer of dark fantasy and lesbian romance who just got woke up x)
I don't dance, so watching it is, and I've been fascinated with Indonesian traditional dances, in particular jaipong and legong (the former is the dance that inspired Ashrah!).

#TavQOTD I actually recorded Ashrah and Karlach dancing once! The photo mode has a Malaysian dance style that has some moves similar to the Indonesian jaipong, which is the style she dances!

... which is the dance she witnessed the Indonesian women performing when she decided to base her second skin on them. Example, for those who might be curious: youtu.be/SRAiO5dyk1o.
Nitara would be delighted by this choice since she's been going back to her love for dancing lately, thanks (4/6)

In terms of storytelling and dances, jaipong is more significant to Ashrah, but I've been kind of obsessed with legong. The facial expressions, the movements, it's so hypnotising!

Not initially, as she sees dancing as an act of freedom and doesn't even want to learn. But as her mentality changes, she does learn to dance jaipong! And nensii ballroom dances because, you know, her wife *is* a professional-level dancer :3
