Returning to Gaza now, I see destruction that defies belief, from Rafah, via Khan Yunis, to Gaza City.
This is destruction of an entire society of more than 2 million people, in a densely populated, small, confined territory.
This is in no way “self-defence.”

Incredibly difficult to move around in Gaza and to reach those in need here.
Getting aid into and around Gaza is a vast, bureaucratic & logistical challenge.
We must have a #CEASEFIRE and we must have access, so that we can reach those in truly desperate need'.
