I went to my favorite bakery.
I found something labeled “strawberry whipped cream” and decided to buy it,
and inside was custard and sweet-tart strawberry compote—absolutely amazing.🍓😭

It’s a very Japanese-style bread called chikuwa pan.
It has a tube-shaped Japanese fish cake filled with tuna mayo inside.
The surface is lightly brushed with sweet soy sauce and sprinkled with seaweed.
It was really delicious!
