I’m pretty sure this is only the second time I’ve ever boiled them myself.

Boiled with rice bran and chili peppers for bitterness removal, and it smelled like corn!!🌽😳1/2

My hyacinth bloomed, though I started it a little later than everyone else, so it’s a bit behind (and a little wild 😆).

But honestly, I still find the roots more fascinating than the flowers.
