Quite a lot of the trade is structured in a very specialist way. I was particularly drawn to wine and the five companies that I have worked for in the UK - Fortnum & Mason, Berry Bros & Rudd, Direct Wines (now Laithwaites), Bancroft Wines and Jascots - mostly saw beers and spirits as an afterthought
