Resting nearly 16.5 feet beneath the sea off the island of Tokunoshima, Ocean Gaia serves as an artificial reef that welcomes marine life to flourish within its open, porous form. It beautifully unites art, ecology, & the feminine force that sustains us all. 💙

Jason deCaires Taylor's tidal horse-and-rider sculptures stand in a sea inlet in Haugesund, Norway — home to local divers and marine life — concealed and revealed by the tide, same as his original Thames piece once was. Art that lives with the water instead of beside it. ❤️
