The airline has also implemented new baggage policies, offering under-seat personal items for free while charging for overhead bin access. Jetstar is also pursuing a Bali route from WSI, though this faces competition from Virgin, which is seeking similar capacity. The International Air Services Commission is reviewing both airlines' bids for Bali routes. The first international service from WSI will launch on Monday with Air New Zealand connecting to Auckland, followed by Fiji Airways to Nadi in March, Singapore Airlines to Singapore in November, and VietJet to Ho Chi Minh City early next year. Qantas will operate eight weekly flights to Brisbane and Melbourne from next year.
