Three balaclava-clad thieves attempted a ram-raid on Bradford Jewellers in West Yorkshire on 11 May 2026 at approximately 11:30am. The suspects drove a vehicle into the front of the shop, causing significant damage to the storefront, before entering armed with metal poles or bats. Plumes of smoke filled the store and alarms sounded as the chaotic incident unfolded. Four customers, including a woman carrying a baby, were inside at the time and managed to flee the premises safely. Despite breaching the security barriers, the raiders failed to access or break the jewellery display cases and stole nothing. The entire attempted heist lasted around 30 seconds before the group fled empty-handed with their backpacks and weapons.
