From televangelists' lips to pagan goddesses's ears, and here's General Jinjur of Oz for an illustration of how nice a girl army could be, pegging optional (and do televangelists really talk like that?).

An old character of mine who has had quite a journey. Jinjur the Jinx. Shes one of those characters I doodle a lot but dont always show. But shes another one of my fun mischief makers. I love a lil gremlin.

It's similar to how Ozu no Mahoutsukai reduced Jinjur's army to only 5 girls including Jinjur.
I gave the all-girl army 9 soldiers (arguably, only 5 are important to the plot), but in the book Jinjur had HUNDREDS of soldiers.
I'm not drawing all that!

I've deviated a bit from the original book!
1) Mombi threatened Tip with becoming a statue, not a haircut.
2) Tip didn't become Ozma till the end of the story.
3) Mombi teamed up with Jinjur.
4) Dorothy didn't meet Ozma and the Sawhorse (unnamed) till book 3.
5) Professor HM Wogglebug, TE existed.

Jinjur looked kinda stiff in this comic, so I've redrawn her.

Holy shit it’s been a couple of days. The @reactorsff.bsky.social story came out today. Yesterday my book won an award and I accepted it in a club overlooking Lake Michigan. And tomorrow @starsandsabers.bsky.social ‘s Oz anthology comes out with my Jinjur story. 🔥😱
