Went for a backcountry ski today and also got to see a wolf pack chase a herd of bison around a meadow.

What an incredible privilege to bear witness to this sacred winter ritual.

Happy #NationalPublicLandsDay from the Gallatin, where we volunteered to join a crew to brush and swamp the local Nordic ski trails.

Apparently, the #jrranger is big enough to handle the pole saw! Now all we need is snow! Season starts November 10.

A7: Value, yes! And welcome need investments in all the tools that will support people in learning about these places. During the pandemic, we did a virtual tour of Cesar Chavez NHS as part of the JrRanger program, and it was amazing! I could even zoom in on the books in the library! #ParkChat

There is a gift in asking and I am so grateful. We are ok, for now. But so many people that we love are not okay, as I know is true for you also.

The JrRanger has pneumonia, but we have access to healthcare & trust science. We are preparing for a shutdown, but we have enough.
