It is difficult to celebrate world humanitarian day #WHD2026 when over 1000 aid workers have lost their lives in the line of duty. International law exists because there are clear lines no one should cross. Governments must do more to protect civilians and humanitarians, it's time to #JustBeHuman.

My heart is anxiety-filled and compassionate thinking of the terror that millions are living with right now. Again. Listening to Homan interviews agitates my amygdala. Heck, just looking at his photo does the same thing.
