Rice Krispies no longer made of real rice grains as climate change impacts rice farming & Krispie fanatics are outraged. Kellogs (Ferrero) has broken the issue into demographics which ignored it in the past. One impacted breakfast cereal = more impact than 1000 erudite food security reports.

Kellogs have added barley malt extract (a source of gluten) for years so they were not suitable for gluten free diets before this change.

Enshitification reaches Rice Crispies. Kellogs stop using rice in rice crispies. (switched to rice flour and corn flour). This is bollocks- walk into any Indian food store in UK and look for puffed rice, you'll find bags and bags of the stuff. Its not expensive.
